    Downloading not requested

    Hi everyone, trying to flash the kv780 with the new firmware and keep getting this message. Anybody have any ideas where I'm going wrong ? Com port is assigned correctly. Cheers.

      you did not follow the guides for flashing the 780,as in box off at rear press download and power on?

      If you have a PC/Laptop with a 9 pin serial socket then all you need is a Null Modem Cable, see pic below. If you have a PC/Laptop that doesn't have the 9 pin serial socket you will need a Null Modem Cable and a USB adapter, See pic below. If you have a PC and you are struggling with the usb adapter or you have Vista

          I did mate....sorted it now though. Flicked the switch on and off about 3 times quickly, I remembered had the same problem all those years ago . Thanks for the reply though mate.
