succesfully loaded new firmware on k780, rebooted box to search for channels , and then why i do not know i deleted all channels .now it will not scan no net id comes up and only 8 channels any help would me appreciated

you have to factory reset when adding this new firmware,scan from direct feed and correct provider as maybe you scanned on the wrong one?

aye a done all that it will not let pick my correct net id goes to seven then closes i have a direct feed no spliter do you mean when i flashed the box after i flashed box i set it up to do a scan thats when hit problems

the problem was the feed going to vm installation the copper contact was not making contact, i know i will not get any premium channels at the moment till i go to the next step, but i thought i would get fta is this the case

u should have FTA.

try rebooting box and router then rescan your provider and see if netids come up.

fta there now the cable at vermin box was not seated properly thanks for all help have go elsewhere for next step
