Last call for help before i bin my box :-(

    Hi Forum

This is that last call of a desperate man before i convert my 700C box to a door stop.

Recently moved to a block of flats in Liverpool and cannot get my box to work. Its been working for the last 2 years in various flats with and without full cable packages. We have broadband but no min cable package.

I've tried reflashing the latest firmware AND older versions on the box then rescanning without success. I've also tried scanning on every available provider type.
This area is virgin but was previously TW.
I can only manage to get around 11 TP's after scanning i should have around 30 shouldn't i?

I've attached a picture of the cable connections on the wall incase theres anything you can work out from this

    My box details are

    Arnet 700C
    Software version: Kryptview pv2.0.00
    H/W version: v 1.2.0

I'm plugging the coax in the SAT1 wall connection then into the input on the box. I've tried the other sat 2 and other combinations of input and output

Any ideas of what i can do to check if the connection is live or get it working?

    Thanks

you say you have broadband, disconnect cable from modem and connect to your box and scan, see if there is any improvement.

Looks like thats exactly what your doing. Plugging into sat. Take a picture of where your broadband comes in and post it up.

my thoughts exactly,by plugging into a live sat feed dont know what harm may be done,he has a tv socket also that is where the feed comes from that goes into the krypt, you should have got a connector in box to hook up also.

Flats sometimes have both Cable and Sat running round and use double head outlets like in the pic. One for Cable and the other for Sat.

If you have cable BB make sure you are connected to the same one.
