Kryptview A750 Problems

Hi,

I purchased a Kryptview back in December and followed the sticky posts in this thread to get it up and running ....

It was very straight forward and I was able to to get all the channels working properly ...

I have been experiencing issues for the last week or so with the box and was just wondering if anyone has any solutions ...

The channels are all showing up correctly and I'm able to watch them .. however while I'm watching, the sound cuts out intermittently and the picture becomes shaky ... sometimes to the point where its just scrolling on the screen ...

Any help would be much appreciated ... Thanks

Go into menu, system settings, other settings and down to deviation. Try adjusting 1 or 2 at a time to see if it improves.

box freezing up

yes i have the a750 box and am having the same problem . got mine late december to. picture .freezing sound keeps coming and going on one or two chanels not just my box then

Well I've tried changing the Signal Deviation up and down a bit and although it's slightly better, the issue still remains ...

I'm thinking that the box is maybe overheating or something as it mainly seems to happen in the evenings when heating is on and the house is very warm ...

Any ideas people?

Just as another idea, which is maybe not it but won't hurt trying, you've not happened to catch the PAL/NTSC button on the remote have you? Seen that do some strange things on some TV's!

I did think that's what I'd done initially but I made sure that it was set to PAL before I posted my problem ...

apart from it being a faulty box, whaich is not worth sending back now as cableboxes are all deemed to be useless anyway in the coming months. i would try a new scart lead first also make sure its in the scart socket for tv and not vcr on rear of box, at least try and get the best out of it befiore its all over

i have just got my box, kryptview a750 fine at first but losting channels i am tying to download a new firmware if this box from this site but keep staying i am not permitted plaese can any help me i am new please please help paul

takes a little while after you join and post and allow server to update you and allow you in.
