Major problem with Arnet Kryptview 750 box

Hi I followed all the set up instructions and was able to sucessfully able to download the softaware on to the box

However when I tried to scan for channels the remote will not work and im stuck on the system set up menu (language clock zone etc....)

I cannot even press menu on the remote in an attempt to restore factory settings

I have tried to re-download the software on to the box but the remote doesn't work at all!!

Please help as I do not know what to do

i have not used one of these for a few years, but if i remember right it has a stb button on remote, press this and it should work.

but not 100% it has, been along time.

I know it's stating the obvious but you could try changing the batteries in the remote.

I have tested the remote on another box which is identical to mine and it works fine!

The remote worked when I downloaded the software on to the kryptview box.

But like i say, when I get to the "scanning for channels" stage I cannot use the remote to set the basic settings like time zone and language because it doesn't let me scroll.

Is there a way of taking the software off the box and starting again?

i would just reflash it again sounds like a bad flash. i dont think the software has gone on the box thats why it wont let you proceed any further than the first stage

Hi guys thanks so much for all your help

I've been able to re-flash, get the remote working and find all the channles

Just 1 hitch though!!

When flicking through the channels it comes up with a message saying "waiting for code update"

What do I do to get round this??

as long as your area not gone n3 yet, just put on sky sports1 and it normally opens the channels
