DW800 pause issues help please.

Hi,
i own the splendid dw800 and i am learning all it's features however i have a problem with it i think? i have used a sky+ box and am used to it's features however on my DW800 (latest firmware) new 2.5" harddrive and caddy attached via usb (which records fine),

i press pause on the remote and it does just that however i press play to resume and
i get the "play" banner pop up below but the picture is just frozen (no Audio) to resume tv i have to press stop, then message comes up "exit live rewind"..

why won't it simply just resume? is it a firmware or hardware issue?
Any help would be appreciated

I have no fix for you sorry but to stop you fiddling it is a firmware problem, in fact I haven't heard of anyone who has got this feature working yet.

TBH I came to the DW800 from the EX7000 because of the lack of firmware support.

It was bandied around the 'net that Kryptview have great support but nope, I am just as disappointed at how 'unfinished' this box is also.
