Just got one today and had some problems so i can help you overcome them, once the firmware is installed, select auto scan and select t/pest or ntllllll and then select a region where you stay, I missed this part, you will find the colour is well over the top so adjust it on you TV, it may take some time at first for everything to work like 20 minutes so be patient, the flash you can do it 2 ways with the red buttons or start the flash turn box off and on and it will start download, if there is any stations missing do another auto scan, it wont double up it will find any missing stations.
Its important to get the correct firmware just look for the one in big mac that's says i connector 2010 don't use the one that comes with the loader as i did, but was pointed in the correct direction by a good member, the box work really well but no picture on picture, there is no subscription to the server and the box and i connector is about ?200 but the package is ?820 from virmin.
The new starview 6 I was advised is about ?150 and again no subscription to the server, i think they will all do that now as the manufacturer is funding this from profits, you may find at first the picture will freeze for a few seconds, but this is OK with a new install, if it wont correct turn box off and back on again, it should work ok steady stream after a few hours once the server accepts you.
