anyone in birmingham would know how to fix the kryptview box, its got problems with the remote, the remote, still flashes throught the camera test, but the box doesn't respond, im guessing some sort transistor needs replacing or something...

Try switching of the mains and put the leads back in again properly.
I had the same problem and its all working now after i tried that!!

its always been a problem with the kryptview

i would also check when your area is or going on to nagra3 as all boxes stop working ,there is an updated thread of new areas added to nagra3.

who cares what word one uses to describe a working kryptview.... solution or workaround, does the box work, YES...

I think the KV Iconnector is the last bit of revenue the makers are trying to get out of people. Once the n3 rollout is complete, you'll see VM switch their attention to stop cardsharing. yes it is a work around, and probably not a very long lived 1.
