Interesting how we look to downloads - been away for a while myself but looking at this we have some c+ code with what looks like some better holding of cmd returns - do you know any box including an old dbox can do the same as a kv; ok hd output apart but we can sort that on other f/w easy as; hows about we start a thread here on this forum on how to go about it ? setting your own m8s up on a dbox server ? Linux obv can be ported over; stop all the cr@p sales of shite boxes - if admin want to start a thread on learning I will participate - c/s traders are scum and ferk all to do with the scene

how do you get the dw800 to connect to the net I see no ethernet port on the back? or does it require rs232 ethernet converter thingy's that are out with starview 7 ?

Hi - just joined Dig Kaos, having probs navigating site and not too smart technically in any event ! Anyhow, just got myself a Kview A780 but need to find link for Loader etc. Because I haven't posted anything I can't download and I have no idea how to "post". Had a Sview for a couple of years and managed to flash and scan that so hopefully I can get this Kview up and running ! ! Any help would be appreciated.

Built in LAN enabled KV A780 latest firmware found here

Can also be updated via the KV menu. When online - Press menu - Installation - SW Update - Press OK - It will now update.

Latest ONLINE updated BIN is dated 30/12/10

Probably just something to iron out bits of known glitches.

Some of us report any glitches we find and they try to sort them with the updates.
