    How to cut cable?

What is the correct way of cutting and placing the F-plug onto the white virgin cable?

I believe you are not allowed to rouch the copper wire against the inner wire or something like that

Good guide here [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gvZx2C8nnY]YouTube - How to fit an F plug to coaxial cable[/ame]
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

you can buy f-plugs from b&q which you can easily fit yourself.
      1. take off outerlayer insulation, say 3-4cm
      2. snap off solid copper surrounding inner insulation and pull copper strands back to outer layer of insulation and wrap them round
      3. using a stanley knife carefully remove inner insulation about 5millimetres from outer layer of copper
      4. scew the f-plug on so that outer layer of copper is in contact with f-plug
      5. cut the end off inner core of copper flush with end of f-plug
      6. the outer strands of copper and inner core of copper wire must not touch
