    Kryptview demise?

    Hi all,
    New to the whole scene.
Just spent the weekend setting up a new A750.
Yes, I know I've just missed the boat courtesy of N3 etc.

Managed to get about 7 FTA channels, and the clock works fine! Hehehe.
Actually it quite made my day seeing it in action.

Is it seriously worth waiting for a crack or is it a lost cause?

I know about the Iconnector option, but it costs more than the original box, and even then it sounds a bit iffy.

I'm clearly no expert but can't a link like that be traced via your ip address?

if your using virgin broadband and use i connector, then yes they will know. cable cs is iffy, best going with sat set up.

Thanks for the tip...I never even knew I could input from sat feed with the kryptview, thought it was cable only.
Btw..I scanned again last night and got about 25 channels, including Sky box office... I used the Telewest option.

dont think he meant take the kryptview down the sat route and yes your right it is a cable box, he meant get sat setup as opposed to the krypview and i-connector on cable. you wouldnt have any trouble getting a good price for it as its still a working box. its great your getting channels back but its only short term they will be gone soon enough.
