What diff f/ware did you use, I hope it was A750 f/ware
First plug out router, box & i-connect.
Plug in router & box, wait, then plug in I-connect.
If nothing happens try s/w update in box menu
If it updates i-connect should kick in & install update
If it's still not responding, disconnect i-connect, & fac-reset box
Flash box with 03/01/2011 f/ware, then scan for channels
Now connect i-connect & leave it update itself.Reboot router & box
If you're still in trouble Alex, Cacti, or Satsmo might be able to
help you, or you could ask question on i-connect facebook page
Just say i-connect lost lights don't mention pulling out plug
while flashing. You might just check LAN-cable to make sure it
wasn't damaged or try in diff port on router

Thanks I really appreciate your help. I will give it a go tomorrow. I flashed it with older f/w from last year to see if it made a difference. I think it was last May's update that updated the i-conn. LAN cable is fine as I was using it on sv7 (which has gone down) so I thought i would try reconnecting the a750 back. All f/w is a750.

Once you used 750 f/ware it's OK. The worst thing can happen to
a box is a power cut during flash & you did it to an i-connector.
Hopefully it will be alright. Just try SV7 on LAN cable & see does
        router LED light up

SV7 connects fine, the server is down on that. I have reflashed a750 and i conn still doing the same thing, just one LED light (the power light). No connection light or anything. Does anyone know the Jtag points or if I can reflash it via RS232 (just the i conn). Box flash if fine updates and downgrades without problem. Even tried A780 on the LAN cable and that's fine.
Maybe it's time to move to A780, A750 and i conn have been going just over a year.

interesting if it was just the power cable or iconn that got a pull also, have you tried powering off at back modem router and box for a few mins then on and leave it on a scrambled channel for a few mins.

C'mon Cacti, you can do better than that. It seems i-connect not
connecting with router. Maybe supplier will replace unit

Simple answer1, KV recommend you use latest firmware, you
either trust their know-how or you don't.I know I would
Simple answer2, if your box works fine leave it alone, if it's not
                  working fine update firmware.

tried everything so far. Different f/w, switching router/modem off. The i conn just comes on with one single light (the power one) left it overnight and nothing. Seems like the i conn needs reflashing or jtagging. I have jtagged a few sv's in the past but have no clue about the jtag points and what to flash it with (the iconn that is)
If I could just flash the i conn with rs232 , would make so much easier.

replace or recharge you, contact your supplier and see if they will replace it as it stopped working, trouble is who might have any.may need powering on/off a number of times?with latest firmware and you did a factory reset and new scan.

here m8 try this firmware below on your box then use the one on the net to update it after that.
                        Kryptview_A750_09092010.bin - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download

menu ...... installation ...... 0000 ....... s/w update try that and see what happens.

if you get the firmware on the box and still not working reboot the box a few times and it should kick in.

He has no bother flashing firmware to box, he's after trying older
f/ware already. His problem is i-connect won't kick in to update
                          No connection LED on unit.

yes powered it off many times and back on again.
I have txt the supplier but he has not got back to me.
It just seems like it's stuck. I have a bit of knowledge on these and a780 but no one (even my 2 suppliers) have ever encountered this.
If i can get another i conn I will try or get this one repaired. But seems like I will have to go back to sv7 or get an
                              A780.
Iconn did not get a bang just power cable pulled out while it was updating after flashing it with recent f/w . The box was flashing iconn (led was blinkin) when I put power back in i conn , just the power light came on

Thanks for all ur help. I tried it all but to no avail.
