Help Please

I intend to buy an A780 box and install it , I can flash the box but wish to install it remotely from my PC so how do I go about it,I have cable.

Options are to run CAT-5 cable from box to router
OR
Move router to box location & use Ethernet from cable box to router
OR
Connect wireless dongle to box
OR
Use magic-plugs; Connect 1 to box & 1 to router
