    Clarification please

    Hi,

I have an Arnet700c which I know is not capable of showing cable channels and that there won't be any firmware updates for this.

I'm in a Nagra 3 area so as far as I know NO cable box will work.

So, I was reading around a bit and saw people mentioning they use boxes called A750+iConnector or a A780.

I was just wondering how to these boxes work? They connect to the internet right? What is sending the tv channels to the box? Do I still need a subscription to Virgin Media or do I just need a broadband connection for that box to work?

Also, does any one know what the acronym "C/S" means? Read it in a few places but not sure what it means, something like "available via Sat C/S"?

Sorry for the noob like questions.

yes they work via your router, all you need is a broadband connection, but dont use virgin. cs means card sharing. your best option is sat cs though.

          Thanks for the replies.

Yeah I get you would need a router/modem but how does the box work?

Where does it receive the channels from? Are you supposed to pay a subscription to some one for the channels?

What is the quality like? Do you always have channels that need to buffer for a few seconds, like if you're watching iPlayer on your PC?

Yet another thread about card sharing that's against the rules

            THE TRUTH
            The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.
