they can't tell what box you have connected if you already have legit devices connected.

however, they can look at the data stream being sent over their network (if u use their broadband) and they can probably trace it - i.e. to card share servers - so that is definitley dodgy

How long has the Kryptview been working in the Uk now ?? since the start of N3.

How many times has their service been down and for how long if it was ??.

you bought your old box with the same risk nobody knows how long anything will last you buy a box you take a chance like many others are doing, the sooner the better the more chance you have of making your money back on the purchase, 2/3 mts and the box has paid for itself if you are on the min sub

They are already trialling the deep packet inspection and i'm sure the servers aren't using anything as sophisticated as SSL encryption to hide the data - but it can still be easily traced too and from the source. plus, don't forget the digital bill that labour wanted to put thru is still hanging around.

are u trading them or something?

it'll be interesting once the total swtich to N3 happens to see if they are robust enough to carry on. That will show whether it's a TRUE N3 glitch in which case it's portable to other receivers OR it's a work around while the old stream is still being broadcast.
