Area Selection

Hey Guys!
I am having a very silly problem.
I cannot seem to locate the area nearest to me.
I live in West Bromwich,& have tried the "Birmingham 750", but I am not getting all the channels.

I tried "All Network" but all channels are found but they are not in the right order.

Can somebody please tell me which are should I select?

There are at least four I could choose from: 2 in Wolverhampton & 2 in Birmingham.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar Problem

It tria error. I rescaned at least 8 areas before I got most not all channels.

Can you change the area you search? I thik i selected the wrong area the 1st time i sanned.. now i never seem to get asked to pick an area? Is it somewhere in the menu?

You have to factory reset the box to get the area screen to load.

You may have to do this many times before it locks onto the area screen, when it does show the areas leave it for half a minute to gather them all.

This is best done without the ethernet connected.

ahh i see, thanks. I have done a factory reset last night and it didnt show up, wasnt aware that i may need to few it a few times. Ill give it a worl in an hour or so when i get the chance.

Did as above.. and this time the area selection came up!! Result!!
Im in Newcastle.. there wasn't a Newcastle in the list.. have selected the 1 that said "wearside" as this seemed the nearest place to me.

The scan is currently running. Fingers crossed!!
