Does anyone have a tutorial showing how to run a VPN through a router?

I have a belkin F5D7230-4, but cant seem to find anything on google showing you how to setup a VPN through a router.

You set a VPN up through your computer or which ever device is programmed to connect to website/server throu a VPN.

No as the server is preprogrammed into the box software.

Do you have to have a VPN or are people just paradnoid. Im using an A780 and im on vermin BB, no problems here. Im told the a780 uses very little bandwidth, so hopefully that helps.
