As long as you flash it with the correct software, then connect it via router to the intenet then yes you should get all channels that you were used to with the eurovox

sat c/s has been about for a good while now that would be the way i would go if i was going to go the way of c/s, cable is on a closed network which means the servers are fairly easy to trace and shut down, personally (which i have) i would cough up to virgin or sky for a year and see what pans out in the mean time ( and give the cable c/s time to see how its goes ) i get xl tv 20mb bb and phone with free weekend calls for ?40 a month, so you pay ?150 odd or what ever for the kv A780 and the server subs, there wont be that much difference in a virgin sub and what you pay for the kvA780 and the server subs, and as ive said you never know what might come up in a year, i know peeps who are doing c/s on cable and they have had know probs so far, but its very early days for cable c/s so imo its not worth the risk, just yet.

150 for kv and no sever subbs and been running 6 month

peeps dont wanna be told to get a legit subb bud, they come on here looking for alternative, they no what sky and virgin charge and lots cant afford big bucks monthly so we tell them the options with obvious risks involved and its down to them

The only reason i ask the question is that i,v been running both versions of the kv on c/s for 4 months or so with no problem, and no extra server costs...

was just enquiring what your thinking was!!!,..now i understand.
