Has anyone tried the maplin usb to serial adaptor on the kryptview or any other box?

    Saw this http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...968&doy=search
and was wondering if any one has one and if it works on the kryptview or any other box really?
    thanks

I use one on Dbox2 and dreambox no problem you just need to make sure that its on a com port less than 10 ive found! I just change it in device manager and it works fine
WAS MAR 2009 OCT 2012 AND NO PRICE INCREASE

                    Yep.

I got one from Maplins (though it's purple!!!!!!).

Works a-ok on both my Kryptview and Technomate.

                    Recomend.

I brought one from Maplin, works a treat... good thing is, that if you lose the software like i did you can download it from the maplin site.
Money well spent in my opinion.
