    need tips on scanning KV A780

    i posted a thread couple months ago about scanning for channel that are ordered by my local neighbors ,front row,box office etc...i had a starview before and picked up abut 20-30 signals of my locals but ive had my KV for 2 months now and still stuck with 8 signals.....could anyone give me a idiots guide to scanning for these locals please rather than doing a factory reset.....thanx guys !!

    If your only getting 8 signals you will need to factory reset.
    Instalation
    Auto Search
    Select provider
    Green Button
    Wait for Net Id's to appear and a further one minute
    Select Net Id closest to you
    OK to start search
    When complete exit.

      great stuff but is they anyway way of avoiding a factory reset and just doing like a quick scan or something ?

        Noop.

        Scanning all transponders without setting your net id would take at least five times as long as it would with reset and locking on to the correct frequency range.

        Your looking at no more than five minutes if done correctly.
