new 780 just received

hi folks hope you can help me, i have just received kryptview 780 scanned and got 100s channels. how do i connect it to my cable modem next to my tv? rs232 to my modem cable adapter doesnt seem to exist. I have a wireless router upstairs about 20 metres away but have no idea how to connect. could anyone give me an idiots guide. cheers in anticipation

If your router is not next to your box then you have 2 options
1. Home Plugs
2. Wireless adaptor.

yes read the tuts very important,and you flashed box with latest firmware and removed sticker on rear?

ethernet cable....from box to router....there is place to connect ethernet to box under a sticker on the box

3. Move the wireless router to near the tele.

Thanks for all your help, it becomes clear how to connect up once you remove the sticker at the back of the box to reveal the lan socket. Why do they hide it like that?
