a700C - how long have I got left?

hi,

i am in south liverpool. I have had the a700c for a few years now with minimal probs. but recently within the last week. ive noticed some channels arent working nemore. i still have sky sports but all movies / espn / lfc channel plus others arent working nemore.

does this mean nagra 3 has now kicked in or is in the process of? I received a new card a good couple of months ago.

if this is the case will all the channels eventually go? will the a780 box fix the problem for now and can that do HD or HDD recording?

Yea m8 unfortunately it's all but over. The rest of the channels will follow soon and we'll have blank screens again for the forseeable future. The A780 will not fix the problem. Free cable will be gone as we know it.
Some boxes can be connected to a server via an ethernet lead and the internet, but it's not as straight forward as your used to and the quality is not 100% to say the least

ah... not good news. doesnt the a780 connect via the internet? payin ?70 a month for tv after this long feels wrong

Well i heard mixed things m8 about the quality as well as the longetivity, and if all's well there, then thats a plus

there's always rumors bd and peeps not happy but if it works for others thats what counts

for others having any probs ive always said just any cheap router would do when asked but not the case as i just found out from bud who was only poor cnut having probs and ready to give up when he took his belkin with him to comet and spoke to some assistant who said it was crap now and got ?50 out of him for new belkin, yup another belkin your thinking but it sorted prob for him and now he's happy as larry like the rest of us

i mention this as its usally a signal prob with anyone having probs rather than server related as they think.

how much of ur internet data does it use. as ya prob kno vermin start limitin ur connection after a few gig. if u repeatly go over im sure they start lookin in to ur connection wouldnt they?

you dont pick up the feed through bb! Look into it! Ive had an A780 for a few days...its mint. Yeah id like hd and pvr but im sure they will be around by xmas. It works , what more do you want?
