Kryptview a780 missing bbc and ch4

Hi,

Still pretty new to this. Flashed the a780, did the factory reset and rescan and have loads of channels. However no bbc stuff or channel 4. Any help gratefully received

when you scanned , did you scan for "network" channels only?

Tried them both. Just tried them again after reading your reply. not picking up

just to make sure your scanning properly m8


1 do a factory reset
2 select automatic scan
3 change provider to telepest
4 change channel type to "networked" (this is what i think your doing wrong)
5 start scan (green buton i think)
6 after a few mins a list of tp's should appear
7 chose one nearest your location
8 box should now scan and store all channels.
if there are still channels missing, then you may have a weak signal

Hiya,

Did the rescan as above but still no BBC channels.
Had a eurovox previously which worked fine so i think the signal strength was ok. Maybe need a cheap set top box for cbeebies!

strange, i would rescan and try out a few diffrent tp's.
you should post the area you live in and hopefully someone close buy will post back, which is the best tp to use..

i had this problem this week . and instead of scanning the nearest place to you try the next nearest and also try ex c&w instead of telepest , this worked for me

Yes Warrington is on the Manchester 1 network. Suprised me when I sorted a box over there.

guys, got the same problem, but im missing movies and sports. can get sports2, and showcase movies but thats it, it picks up all hd ones, but thats no good on this box

im in greenford area (west london) and chose ex c&w and then hayes as nearest.

maybe i will retry, as forgot to do factory reset after flashing

Just factory reset and try another provider or area. Its a bit hit and miss for areas sometime.
