can't open serial portcom ??

has anyone experienced this

all so message stats has com port have the following parameters ??

i have every thing wired up as per guide and it definetly in the correct com port so i'm stuck !

any ideas would be gratefully recieved

need more info,is it a pc.lappy xp or vista and what setup are you using null modem or usb adaptor.
some loaders give you a choice com1-4 to use,just check correct one used.

sorted - like a kid at chrimbo i was over excited and didn't read the bit at the bottom saying then turn off click start then turn on again
