Download Failed !

me again

i set up my a780 and after much messing around downloaded bin 18052010 an managed to get it on my box Horrrray!!!!
then i noticed a new download bin 24082010 and desicided to load this one on the box
this is when the "download failed" hit
i tried several times and then thought i better load th other one back on but i got the same failed meesage

should i have done a factory reset before attempting to download the second bin or should that not matter

has anyone else had this problem and if so any fixes ??

you should delete all channel data and factory reset before loading new software. the error message could be because you have the wrong com port selected. if you still have the 18052010 software on the box it can update itself. just look through the menus for s/w update.
