    A780 + 3G Router

Would the A780 work okay if you connect it via the lan to a 3g router with a pay as you go subscription. If so how much data would it be using per month ?

I know this will involve extra cost but at least you won't be using the providers broadband connection.

Also can anyone recommend a 3G router if this is possible.

    Thanks

You never know what they are upto. If this solution is possible you won't be using there data.

As this solution works, how much data will the A780 need each month ?

I am under the impression its very small, for each key every 20 mins or so. I may be wrong.
I am looking at the price of the mobile dongles and routers. Can anyone tell me a good "dongle deal" for this sort of thing.
Im looking at pay as you go phone sim cards as well, with the thinking behind it being the data cost would be small enough to take a hit on. The newer pay as you go dongles have a 30 expiry on top ups. I really dont think you would need the gig that the tarif would charge for.

If they want to find you, yes. Not due to how much you are using but where it is coming from and the data type.

Cheers, sounds like it's worth the risk though
