Have new Kryptview A780 2 days and works fine but each night after midnight it deletes all channels. Do a new install and everything is ok again. firmware 09092010 anyone else have similar problem?

go to menu installation s/w update and update software for box and see what happens -
Have already tried that now a couple of times and each day get message updating, software had been updated. Also had same problem again last night. Any possibility vm are sending out a signal for the vm box to delete all channels.Last edited by eposman; 2 October, 2010, 11:55.Comment

at a guess i would say you put box in standby and power off at mains ? ive seen this a few times into standby box is in middle of doing a stanby scan and power goes off deleteing channels ,if you dont power off box then try switching off stanby scan in setting to see if that helpsComment

To clarify - do a full installation and receive all channels as expected. Able to watch tv all day long with only a few gliches however after midnight all channels are zapped. This happened on the first 2 nights and while I was watching tv so on the 3rd night decided to leave the kryptview in standby went to bed. Next morning found channels zapped again so had to do another full install. Also noticed front panel shows '0000' after this occurs.Last edited by eposman; 2 October, 2010, 11:40.Comment

i think it might be programmed to switch off
you can adjust it somewhere

Box now seems to be working ok since I left it on rather than switched it into standby. Also left vm box on full time. Not 100% but getting there.Comment
