channel frezzing

some channels freeze then go off and then i get message saying scrambled and no video etc it happens all the time the signal is great and i have the lastest 09 09 10 firmwire flashed but still no luck can any1 help i got the kryptview a780

I have a Belkin and apart from finding the right TP I haven't had no Freezing Probs and my router is 3 years old

have you checked what signal level you have as you need around 80%

yes its around 82% i keep getin blocks on teh screen then the screen goes off and come back on again

same as mine on sat with ethernet drop out.

Had same problem , My cable modem was a 255 from v/m read up on other tech sites and found that v/m do a 256 v2 modem which replaces the 255. Rang and reported fault on box and they sent replacement - seems a lot better. please say thanks if this helps

Hi, I've just set up my a780. Most channels work ok though NO sports at all???

Also, on movie showcase only, blocky picture then box freezes, blank screen except small box in top right corner!

Any thoughts?

VM broadband, 2100 modem, belkin router, Preston area

when you say no sports.
do you mean.
1. sports channels are not there at all
2. sports channels are showing up but encrypted?

sports 4 and news only, others not even listed.

Tried Preston 1, 2 and even TND

right that means either one of two things.
1. you have not scanned properly
2. poor signal

when scanning
always factory reset before hand
choose your provider
scan for "network" channels

you might have just picked the wrong net id..
try it again....
