    kryptview a780 fault

    i have just got a kryptview a780,i put latest firmeware on,box went to installation page,remote wont move up or down,got new buttons but still wont move,curser will move with button on box,i think box is faulty,will the firmeware have anything to do with it.

    Shouldent do mate
    Go into the menu and see if you can updat the software from there
    Make sure your connected to the net .
    If no luck reflash it with a 232
    But ive not heard of any probs with the Software

      Press the stb button on yer remote, then try it agai, not at home just now so doing this from memory, it's one of those buttons anyway to you have to press for the signal to get to the box.

        i have pressed stb button no joy,cannot get into menu because remote not responding,do you think a reflash will help.

          well you dont have much choice
          Try pointing your remote at a phone camera
          It has the abillity to see the remote flashing
          If you see it flashing ,it could be the box sensor
          I would reflash it meself ,Quickest soloution ........Paul

            no m8, i would open box and check remote eye is facing fomt panel...

              tried what you said with camara,remote is flashing,will give box another flash,if no joy will have to send box back.

                what a star,opened box and moved sensor forward,remote working now,just got to scan box for channels,many thanks again.
