my sisters looking for a box, should i wait for a 780 or is the 790 just as good or is the 780 a better box , will it have same backup as 780 and will it take flashes the same and work , thanks for any info

Without going into the technicalities of dual tuners the a790t works exactly the same as the A780. Same software same menus same channels.

The only difference to you will be the little numbers on the front.

A780 on one and A790T on the other.

Ha ha. No Tech54 i havent changed the flash since i got it. paid ?170 special delivery (worth it to me came next day). That could be the issue i bet but i have a laptop with a serial adapter that never works on flashing. Ill have to wait until i get me hands on a PC. Cheers tho guys! enkii get some glasses
