Kryptview A 780 set up

Can anyone please help me,and please excuse my ignorance as I am completely
new to this sort of stuff. I have bought an a 780 Kryptview digital receiver, I hope to use it through my virgin modem but at the moment all I have done is plug it in to the mains and connect it to the tv via a scart lead the menu comes up and it scans but finds nothing. Please can anyone advise me on how to set it up and how to use it to receive virgin media channels

Follow the video exactly and you should be Ok.

m8, have a read around the forum....

you need to...
1.flash it
2. scan for channels
3. connect box to cable feed and router....

thank you for your advice,you state that first I will need to 'Flash it ' though I do not even know what 'flash it' means I know that probably makes me sound like a ***** as well but what the heck I have to learn .

flashing/updating means putting a file/program from pc onto the kv which you will need a cable also.

I didn't realise you hadn't flashed the box.
Go and look at the tutorial and manual on the "sticky" thread at the beginning of this section, there in red.
Everything is explained there.
