This should solve some problems peeps are having getting USB to Serial Adaptor working.
When installing take note of the port number assigned for the adaptor.
Once installed plug in your adaptor.
Click Start/Windows
Right Click on Compter
Click on Manage
Click on Device Manager
Click on Arrow to Left of Ports
Right Click onProlific USB to Serial Adaptor
Click on Properties
Click on Port Settings
Change Bits per second to 115200
Click OK
Close Device Manager
Reboot Computer.
Usb to Seraial Adaptor should now work.
