Hello can someone help my Internet is downstairs and I wonted to hook up my box upstairs I understand that you have to have 2 homeplugs one to the router and one for the box, what I wont to know will it make any difference if the 2 plugs are different makes cause I have 1 powerline 85mps plug and 1 netgear 14mps plug will they still work I won't to find out before I buy a kryptview.

They will not work together ie one of each, you can use both if you have a pair of each and they will not interfere much with each other. -
Homeplugs are supposed to be compatable with each other.
Homeplug & Powerline are all members of an Alliance.

Sorry the plugs make is solwise plug the other plug is netgear they both have diffrent Mbps speed so will they still work together.Comment

Just out of curiosity what speed would u need to run a cv 780 as I have seen 85mps and 200mps on ebay and there is quite a difference in price between the 2 of them especially if you need several.
Would the 85mps give you a stutter free signal ?Comment

Thanks for that DW190 after reading a few more posts I got a couple of packs of 200 mps ones from Ebuyer (?35 for 2) so I would have backward compatability when I network my hard drive with movies around the house
I was just curious how much of the signal came down the lan as I assume that is only doing the same job as a card would in a standard boxComment
