Have you tried the white button where it will list the channels in alphabetical order. They may be there but not in the correct catagories.

restarted box then they came back.also locking up 3 times in 1st day have to power it off to get it working again any ideas

what firmware do you have on box,any splitters on cable feed and do you have a min package and bb.

his solves a few problems like freezing,its always worth a try if having problems

do a factory reset

plug feed into output connection

go through the scan set up again

this should fix the problem

reason this works is,basically its a splitter,the output attenuates the signal. High signal causes the break up and freezing on certain transponders

Might be a silly question this ,but once i have downloaded firmware to the a780 box for the first time,am i right in saying i then have to do a factory reset on the box, if i then do a factory reset wont this affect the firmware that i just downloaded?

It won't delete the firmware.

But, try doing a Software Update though, in case you didn't install the latest firmware.
