hi all on the rs232 cable is it a 9pin at one end and a usb at the other any help is appreciated.

not to sure about kryptview but most boxes ive used use the 9 pin to 9 pin cable!!

null modem cable is a 9-pin female to 9-pin female. It also looks the same as an rs232 or serial cable but it's wired differently inside so these won't work, it needs to be a null modem cable.

If you don't have a com port on your PC, you need to get a usb to serial converter then plug your null modem cable into that. Remember to configure the usb cable to com1 on your PC or it won't work.
