      When these boxes go down first thing you check is internet if you have a wired connection double check it no need to rescan people with c/s experience know all this

          have chechk internet mine and my mate went down same time around 9 pm last night

            have you checked to see if it is an outside cable fault due to upgrading system and what signal level are you getting on fta channels

                  have you switched off at back of box for a min or 2 and also reboot router

                    Sold one of my KV today, can't be dealing with all this hassle.
                    I'll return to cable, once they sort out the teething problems.
                    However, It's all go on the established SAT front though, virtually glitch free on my Dreambox.

                        yes sat is the way to go. i know people who had both sv6 and kv, not happy people, all are now on sat. i would think things would only get worse for cable cs, they will get their money and move on to new things.

                          will the ordinary joe soap want to go the sat route yes its better dearer or just have a cheaper cable box.

                              it does not cost much more, ok setup costs, but from then on you can get what you need for next to nothing. but smirnoffs right, some people are not too bright, all though sat is easy to setup. but its worth doing, more reliable.
