You need a recorder with an input socket.

Yes, I have a 250gb dvd HDD recorder which has an analogue tuner so I use the scart input to record from from my CCTV and the S-video to record from the Kryptview.

Only problem there is if the burglers call when I'm recording tv I dont get them recorded.

So can you pre-record stuff? For instance if I went out now for the night and wanted to record something at 9pm could I do so before I went out?

                    Yes.

Set the recorder to start recording from the input your box is connected to and set the timer on the box to the required channels at the required times.

Easy Peasy, When you know how.

You do need a recording device. The 780 does not have any recording facilities but can be connected to a DVD/HDD recorder through the second scart or the Svideo
