    krypten view no channels

please can someone help? I feel that i'm almost at the point of giving up. I have the Krypten view a780 box with lan, I have followed instructions kindly made available and flashed it 'successfully' Now having connected it to the mains and a scart lead to the tv also an ethernet cable from lan to Router ( the router being one that Virgin media supplied which is combined with modem)..under main menu and extra features it will give me latest weather/traffic info.. I have also successfully updated the software however as I choose ntl which I asume is correct for virgin media and have chose network.. scrambled ..Free..and All each to no avail as it seems not to find any channels,it does search and reads 1. already exists 2. already exists 3... and so forth but when I exit it returns to the easy installation screen.I have tried a factory reset, and i;ve even re flashed the box but still find myself in the same predicament. Please can someone help. Incidentally it does not seem to give me a list f areas to choose from and I have now tried all other networks as well as ntl with no success

The cable feed coming in to your house needs to be split using a splitter then you will have two feeds. One goes into your combined modem/router and the other into the kryptview top socket.

An ethernet from one of the four ports also needs connecting to the kryptview lan.

                    Thats it.

From what you have written it appears you dont have the cable feed which carries the channels to the box.

for box to work you need a coaxial feed like tv socket and bb.
