Hoped you would be sorted by now. Is box connecting to internet
Have you still got weak signal [55] at all times, day & night. You
could swop around cables at splitter. Router to TAP, Box to OUT.
Other option, if you are sure all cables & splitter are sound is
to connect up Provider box & inform them your TV picture is
freezing intermittently & let them sort out weak signal.
On provider box if you go to manual scan in menu it should
show signal strength & signal quality. You should see 90+ strength and 60+ quality.
You might post back with full details on your current situation

Are channs. 1 to 5 working
Are any other channs. working, even poorly.
Is box connecting to internet for sure [more than 2 lights i-conn]
In menu S/W update are you still getting ERROR message
Did you check signal strength & quality on Prov. box.
I know you are having a nightmare with your box but if you post
all the answers to above questions it should be easy to pinpoint
your exact problem.
P.S.
How many TV sets are running off your cable feed.

yes m8 1-5 working ok when other channels say no signal or scrambbled,yes iconn does have 3 or 4 lights on & still getting error sign on s/w sign.

If you try to update the software you will get the searching then, updating progress bar or it will say already updated. If you just get searching with nothing else then the BB is not getting through to the box.

Channels 1 - 5 dont need broadband as they are not encrypted channels.

Did you flash box with A750 i-connect firmware 09/09/2010.
If not do so & then try s/w update

As above....re-flash with latest firmware.....then check all connections before you power up......

You can update it it straight to the box. Menu, Instalation, (0000), S/W Update. The box should download and flash the latest software. If it doesn't its a sign that the box is having dificulty connecting to the server or even the internet.

On Digital Kaos-- forum-- cable-- kryptview.
On top of page in bold red print you will see firmware.
To check if box is connecting to internet;
Menu-- extra features-- weather/traffic info.
If this feature is operating your box is connected to internet ok

look guppy is your box got a permanent feed to the internet if not you only get free to air channels as thats where the ???? are fgs
