Need help setting this wap up, out of the 5 or settings which do i use? Is it wireless bridge

I presume you are trying to use it with a Kryptview? More info is needed.

Here is some info on set up How to configure a TP-LINK router to become an Access Point to turn it into an AP, but why not leave it as a plain router?

As said you need to give more info.

Ye sorry, i just need the simplest way for it to pick up the signal from my router downstairs, then an ethernet cable from the access point to the kryptview?

Connect both routers together via Cat5E/Cat6 or use the link I gave you as it has all the answers to what you require to do so from an AP or bridge mode?

Other than that get some homeplugs but obviously at an extra cost.

You need to set it up in client mode .
