Arnett A700 update

Hi, am mighty confused. Have reflashed mates box with 28 bin and now box just turns on and displays 0000 and does not move or do anything else. Prev lost all channels and done all as advised but nothing. Any ideas ?

you need to rescan as the channels are wiped out when you flash. From memory when you boot the box up a 1 page menu appears. Go to the last option to rescan for channels and choose your provider. Press the green button and locate the area for your provider and you should be good to go after that.

Tried it, menu does not appear on screen, nothing at all in fact, 0000 and nothing else.

So you've flashed it a few times and it always goes to 0000 with no response from the remote?

Try the 29-11-08 firmware.

tried 29 firmware, no difference, still just sits on 0000 on display, nothing appears on TV screen

There is a post in other forum that a new 29112008 kv update is out.
If possible Can you find out if this is true or false. I just think someone has made an error in the date( 29112008 instead of 28112008 ).

Hi, still hanging here. The box just sits with 0000 on its screen and nothing else. Any further suggestions? Also how do you do a factory reset on it? Might help.

Take a look in the installations menu at the bottom.

sorry wont do that either, nothing output to TV at all.
