    Hi all a

    Downloaded all the the stuff to my kva780 , it says Date 18/06/10 - s/w version kv A780 pv.3.4.00 - H/W V3.0.0
    fitted to tv done auto search, am getting all the free view stuff thru vm cable as i have broadband and phone with them only, dont have tv with them ?? all it says is scrambled or no video , on screen ? iv gone with my nearest TP wolverhampton, network is telewest, channell search i have it on Network ? tryed to do s/w up date on box but after 10 mins its still doing nothing,
    so

    1- Do i need basic tv package as? or sld broardband fone work
    2 Try a diff TP area

    3 Any thing else ive mist out

      Am connected direct out of the box on the wall vm white box

        he meant is the box connected to the internet via an ethernet cable or via a wireles router,

            it,s connected direct out of the vm box in too the back of the kv box via satellite cable

            so ive run the cable from vm box direct in to RF in to kv box

              as well as the cable feed which is needed to get the channels you also need the box to be connected to the internet to get the codes to descramble the channels

                Ok I have the vm modem but not in the line at the min, so anyone in simple layman terms show me how it sld be wired up

                  the cable feed goes into your rf in socket
                  then you can connect the box to the internet via an ethernet cable from the ethernet connector on the back of the box to your router or you can connect to the router wirelessly using home plugs

                      I know its me But just looked at the box and theres no ethernet port on the back of my A780 just rf in and loop out
