A780 - is it actually worth it?

Looking to replace DM 500C with Vermin. A780 sounds great. Two questions:

1. Do you have to pay any subs at all?
2. If you don't, how much time am I likely to get out the box before servers overload or there is another issue - is it actually worth the money?

i'm no expert but i would say the 780 is well worth it, good picture and easy to use, no problems with mine anyway, regarding how much time we get out of it, not sure anybody knows, thats the nature of this game, hope this helps, also theres no more to pay after buying it.

You don't have to pay subs. Just connect the box to your router via Ethernet lead or home plugs and it auto connects to their server.

I paid ?160 - If I get 3 months viewing then I'm evens! I'm into my 2nd month so far with no problems, and I get all the footy I can handle. And, I understand they will be showing the boxing this Sat (Haye, Harrison), which is a big bonus!

How long will it last? Probably not as long as subscription!
