missing movies ?

hi again i know its been asked b4 and iv just read those posts, but it doesnt help ?
about 2 days ago i noticed some channels were not working-when that happens it usually help to turn off router...not this time-movie and discovery channels not all of em just a few, but i cant get em back no matter how mant times iv scanned ?
is this a server fault ? does any1 else have the same fault ?

did you have them at one time,sometimes by switching off at back for a min then on will rescan them in [ no splitters ] reboot router if needed.

yeah they were there at 1 point but "scrambled or no video" so i rescanned it and now they just arent there and some of the channels its picked up are "scrambled" too ?

i have no splitters cactikid and have rebooted router, thats the first ting i usually do and it usually works ?
also the TP used to go to 77 now its only 59 ? i can only find 334 channels missing LOADS ?

just rescanned... its the same ? leeds is defo the closest to halifax in the arial option isnt it ?

you are probably on the wrong net id m8.
it's not always the closest.

we need to check you are scanning on correct id....
do you pay a basic sub?
do you have a vermin box?

I'm having similar problems. Movies are fine but there's a few channels missing. I've done all the obvious, factory default, rescan,no splitters. Im in the Leeds area and scanned trying both Leeds options available. 1 loses a few channels but the other 1 loses loads.

oh i was using "leeds trials" in the list of network ID

Use ur v.box to see if what network I'd ur on then bud.

Press the home button on your VM remote control.
Go to settings.
Then technical stuff.
Your net id is the first item on the list


Im missing comedy central extra though anyone else getting it?

yes m8, do what crezza said in previous post.

your net id will show as a 5 digit number,
from that you can look up your correct net id.
there is a list posted on here somewhere, but i can't find it now...

just post the number and someone will tell you what to scan for....

Im in bradford and when i scanned leeds n leeds trials i were missing some channels too, but then some1 suggested to me to try another area, so i scanned under Barnsley n ive been gettin all the channels.

i will plug it in tmoz n check it.
iv just scanned barnsley (the top 1) and its found most of the channels (EVEN ITV N CH4 dont tell the missus) but the movies are "scrambled or no video"
i will check my signal id n let you know

I already checked my v box to find out what the net id was so thats not a problem.
I think i'll just trial and error a few others and see which works best
