    channel delete

i have a little annoying problem when i delete channels.

when i choose the channels i want to delete, i can only do it a page at a time, because the box will switch itself off and displays different numbers on the front of the box and the screen turns a different colour?

also when i do finally delete the channels, the next day they are all back again...

i have also updated the firmware to the latest edition.

    Your doing it wrong.

    Menu
    User Preference
    Delete All Channels

Or are you trying to delete indivuidual channels through the channel edit menu? If so you need to swith the Power Scan Off or they will come back when the box is in Standby.

    Menu
    System
    Other Settings
    Power Scan On/Off

warning if you switch power scan off and channels move frequency they will not come back they will be bad or scrambled, this box was made for ease of finding channels in sleep mode.

You could fac.reset & scan using correct net ID for your area

Factory resetting will still bring them back.

If you have scanned on the right Id your working channels should be at the top and non working ones at the bottom.

To remove them you need to switch the power scan off but doing so causes loss of channels and confusion if VM move channels to different frequencies.
