    can anyone help my signal strenght is only 56 and the picture goes blocky from time to time would a signal booster help and if so which one

    Do you have a splitter from the cable feed ? if so try connecting directly.

    Also are your channels sorted in correct order and all working from the top if not you have the wrong net ID for your area - that will also give you weak signal strength, try another after factory reset.

      ive got the right net id and i do have a splitter even if i connect it direct it only gets to 60

        that's a bit low for signal.
        do you have a tv sub? if so you could try calling vermin and complain that your picture keeps freezing, the idea being that they get an engineer out to boost your signal.
        a booster may work, but you could be in the situation of "sh*t in - louder sh*t out" worth a try though. the best amp is the koenig - fully adjustable. they are around ?25 but you may get one a bit cheaper from a past Dbox user who hasnt got a KV
