Area scanning

Hi i have a Kryptview A780 and live in the Ashton-under-Lyne area. When i do the search am i in the NTL or EX-C&W? One more thing there is Manchester 1, 2 and 3 which one do i search under?
Any help on this would be much appreciated.

hi Kadd sorry for the delayed reply, only just got the email today to say someone had replied. I pay for broadband and use a splitter to go in the back of the Kryptview A780. I dont know what you mean by vermin box?

He means do you have a cable provider box. If you do look in
menu & you will find your correct NET-ID. Scan using NTL & hit
Green. List of Net-Id's should appear, select your Net-ID.
If NTL scan doesn't work try scan using ex-CW. If you don't know
correct Net-ID try diff. ones until you have success

Try each one until you get correct one. You will know you have
correct ID when channels are listed; BBC1,BBC2,ITV1,etc.

I believe i have found the right area now on the search. Still experiencing problems. Could this be because i am not paying for any service? I used to have broadband and now i have switched to Talktalk however, although the signal is still active when i press info the signal reads around 60-63% is this what is causing the channels to go off? If so is there any way i can fix this?

Did you scan using
PROV---- EX C&W
NET-ID---41066
If not do so as using wrong PROV. or ID when scanning gives
low signal. If you still have low signal after scan using correct
ID check all cables & connections are OK. If you cannot improve
signal you may have to look at paying basic TV package.
