him8,iv im new to this i need advice on this,just got kv780,trying to wire up the system but its diferent from 750 which i used to have,thers no ethal cable to plug in from the router,iv no instruction with box,does it need to plug in from pc,if so how do i go on about it.thanx for your advice

Hopefully not as many ship with image but others don't, if the latter all the files you will need are in the download section including the loader.
Personally I would try it staight out the box first before trying to update the bin file
Connect ethernet cable from port behind tape to your router.
connect cable feed.
connect scart lead.
power up box, it should go to set up screen, select supplier ie ex C/W telewest etc, select region from drop down menu and the do a scan.
If all is well you will get your channel list if not i'm afraid it a visit to the download pageComment

The easy way to check if the box has been flashed is press the menu button then installation, (0000 password).
If the fourth item down is S/W Update the box has been flashed and can be updated online.
If there isno S/W Update showing the box only has FTA software on it.Comment

thanx dw190,yes it isflshed i hve updated with s/w.problem is im only getting 4 channel,iv rescanned ,refactory setted,signal is there as well as quality bar both showing 56-65.can you tell me where im going wrong.or is it the box faulty.Comment
