    strarightforward guide to kryptveiw

    hi peeps
took the plunge yesterday and bought A780 off fleabay which came today.

despite searching the forums i cannot find a definitive answer about how to initallly set it up i had an sv 4 for about a year which ran fine until sept..

i have vm cable which comes into the living room and goes throught he wall to my dining room where the computer is the cable goes into the vm modem and then upto a belkin wireless router which has an ethernet connected straight into my imac

the problem is our tv is in the next room so my question is what exactly do i need to get started and how should i connect it up

i am off to town tommorrow so any replies before then would be most welcome

    thanks

    Mark

first you will need to flash your box.
an excellent guide that tells you exactly what you need is in the sticky's

you can use homeplugs to connect wirelessy to your router.
have a look here to give you an idea what you need.

homeplugs items - Get great deals on Computing, Consumer Electronics items on eBay UK!

then you need to scan for channels.
    have a watch of this.....

Will this work for me in Surrey? I used to have Starview 4 but it died with Nag3 a few months back.

I am now looking for a new box and hoping this is the answer....
