    new a780 green screen

hi peeps i bought a kryptview a780 yesterday and all i can see when i turn it on is a green screen and the remote does not appear to work do i have to flash it before i get a menu or could it be incorrect wiring on my scart leads (although evrything else is working

or worst case scenario have i been sold a dud box (i bought it off fleabay company called dcreceivers anyone had any expirence with them??) i know i need to flash the a780 which will involve me buying some leads as i am using a mac and also buy homeplugs but before i commit to more expense i want to make sure that i am not throwing money away

    thanks

hi bud, green screen usually to do with scart

as for remote not working, ive had same prob with new one and fixed by opening it up and when put back together it worked, not saying its your prob but worth a bash, and where you bought is a sound guy if any probs

you will need to flash box as well

DC receivers is a genuine guy. I've had some homeplugs with one faulty and it was exchanged without any problems.

Connecting to your router is for the code to download.

You need a cable feed to the box as well for it to scan and receive the channels.

you can flash on a mac but you need to have vm fusion/bootcamp running with windows on
